Who we are

ERNEX LTD ("Ernex", "we") is the data controller for this website. We're a company registered in England and Wales, number 17186720, with our registered office at 50 Main Street, Burrough on the Hill, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 2JQ. You can contact us at erniehoggard@ernex.uk.

What we collect

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising or any other tracking. We don't collect anything about you just because you visit.

• When you use the contact form: your name, email address, business name (if you give it) and your message
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your email

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a quote or proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps you've asked for before entering a contract with us.

Who else handles it

Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions on our behalf, and our email provider stores the emails we send and receive. These providers may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards that UK data protection law requires. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after we last hear from you. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as the work and the law require, for example accounting records for six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict or object to how we use them, or have a copy to take elsewhere. Email erniehoggard@ernex.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this notice changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
